History
To speak about the "land of the
nomad" is a contradiction in terms, an oxymoron, given that the
nomad by nature travels without ever feeling that any land belongs
to himself. If one interprets nomadism as being a place within one's
thoughts then the "land of the nomad" hopes to serve as a respite,
a "place" where one is able to stop and rest along one's journey...
The property includes three buildings organized
into 5 separate apartments measuring from 35 to140 square meters,
with an communal space as well as a swimming pool. Once the former
home of Umbrian farmers, the buildings have been renovated conserving
some of the original architectural elements while revisiting and
reinterpreting others with diverging styles more or less of a contemporary
flavor. The "land of the nomad" is situated in a panoramic country
area, in a surrounding landscape, untainted, which has not lost
its rustic and natural essence. The property boarders on a pasture,
and it is exposed southwards. Although secluded, it is located within
minutes of highway E45, as well as from Perugia and the Lake Trasimeno
area. It is also not far from the Rome-Florence freeway entrance
(A1), with each city being approximately 1 and ½ hours away by car.
Because of its practical location, excursions within the Umbria
region are therefore not a problem. The "land of the nomad" also
organizes, upon request, individual and/or group meetings or lessons
on singing, breathing and voice, ayurvedic massage, Italian, neurolinguistic
programming [NLP], raku, as well as cooking lessons regarding the
local cuisine.
