Apartment descriptions
Porcilaia (formerly "pig sty")
The porcilaia is a small independent house measuring approximately 35 square meters.
It includes a small kitchen, a double bedroom (sleeps 2 persons) and bath.
Adjacent to the house is an antique wooden oven for baking bread.
Within walking distance towards the valley one finds a beautiful olive and oak tree grove.
Ideal for 2 persons.
Casa ("house")
The casa is the largest of the living spaces, measuring approximately
140 square meters spread over 2 levels. It contains a living room
area with a fireplace, a spacious kitchen constructed from the oldest
part of the building which dates back to the 15th century, 2 large
double bedrooms, and 2 baths. For 4 to 6 persons.
Soffitta (the "Loft")
The soffitta contains a large living room area with a cooking
corner/nook and a double bedroom, measuring approximately 70 square
meters in all. For 2 to 4 persons.
Essiccatoio (the "Drying house")
The essiccatoio is an independent structure/dependance measuring approximately
60 square meters with a view of the swimming pool. It contains a large spacious
kitchen and living room, a double bedroom and bathroom. For 2 to 4 persons.
It is wheelchair accessible.
Stalla Verde (the "Green Stable")
The stalla verde measures about 50 square meters covering a large
independent free rectangular-shaped space without columns, and includes
a kitchen and bathroom. It is well suited for hosting working groups, or
simply for a bit of R&R (rest & relaxation) - in other words, for doing nothing!!
(It is currently under renovation.)
Cantina (the Cellar)
Constructed, as the name implies, from the cellar as well as
from a barn, the cantina measures about 45 square meters and is
located on the ground floor of the main building. It contains a large
living room area with cooking corner/nook, a double bedroom and bath. For 2 persons.
Swimming pool
The swimming pool is, as the name implies, a swimming pool, measuring
14 by 6 square meters. It is coated with the color terra ("earth")
which gives the water a greenish reflection, thus integrating well with
the area. Surrounding the pool is a stone-paved solarium measuring 150
square meters.
Each apartment is furnished with a television set and microwave oven.
In addition, the kitchen in the largest apartment is furnished with a traditional stove,
dishwasher, and refrigerator/freezer.
Ample parking.
No pets or animals allowed.
